Community participation & communications
Terms of Service
Effective October 31, 2026
About these terms
El Paso Edge is a networking group owned, operated, and managed by Star Mountain Marketing. Star Mountain Marketing and its partners provide its training, services, and guidance. These Terms govern the El Paso Edge website, free community, and free resources. Contact us at [email protected].
By choosing to join or participate in the community, you agree to these Terms and the posted community rules. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. SMS consent is a separate, optional choice.
Eligibility and signup
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate signup information. Only submit a phone number or email address you are authorized to use. Keep your Discord account secure and follow Discord’s own terms.
Submitting the signup form provides a path to the Discord invitation; you must separately accept that invitation to join the server. Free signup does not provide paid roles, CRM access, custom services, or paid-library access.
Community participation
Treat others respectfully. Do not post racism, harassment, threats, scams, impersonation, misleading claims, or sexually explicit or graphic content. Promote your business in the designated channel. Avoid spam, repeated sales pitches, and unsolicited sales messages. Obtain permission before pitching someone privately.
Respect intellectual property and privacy. Do not post another person’s private messages, customer information, credentials, or personal information without permission. You are responsible for the content and claims you post and for obtaining the rights needed to share them.
We may moderate content, restrict access, or remove participants for rule violations, abuse, or safety concerns. We ordinarily explain the issue and seek a correction where appropriate; serious misconduct may lead to immediate removal.
Resources, intellectual property, and member content
Our resources are provided for general education. They may include AI-assisted content reviewed for publication. They are not individualized legal, tax, financial, or other regulated professional advice. Evaluate information for your circumstances before acting on it.
Unless a resource expressly grants broader rights, you may use it for your own learning and internal business use. You may not resell it, redistribute the full resource publicly, or claim it as your own. Original materials remain the property of their respective owners; third-party materials retain their own licenses and restrictions.
You retain ownership of content you post. You give us a limited permission to display and moderate that content within the community as needed to operate it. Using your name, testimonial, or content in external advertising or republishing it outside the community requires separate permission.
Events and recordings
We will explain recording and publication plans before a workshop or community session. Tell the host about concerns before participating and avoid sharing confidential information. Any additional permissions needed for promotional use will be requested separately.
Member interactions and availability
Members are independent businesses. We do not guarantee another member’s services, claims, transactions, or conduct. You are responsible for evaluating providers and entering any agreements directly with them.
We do not promise a particular number of leads, referrals, sales, business results, or uninterrupted access. Resources, event schedules, features, and third-party platforms may change or experience interruptions. We will communicate material community changes through appropriate channels.
Optional SMS program
El Paso Edge, operated by Star Mountain Marketing, offers optional text-message communications to people who opt in.
Messages concern community activities and support, including newly published blog articles and resources, upcoming or updated webinars and workshops, guest speakers, community access, and updates on requests you submit. Automated technology may be used. We send only message categories covered by your consent. We do not use this program for cold calls, sales approaches, agency promotions, or paid membership offers.
SMS consent is not required to join the free community or purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out; further program texts will stop unless you subsequently opt in again through a supported process. Reply HELP for assistance or email [email protected]. Delivery depends on participating carriers and networks, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Our Privacy Policy describes mobile information and SMS consent handling. Notify us if you change or relinquish a number used for the program. Unsubscribing from texts does not automatically cancel a membership or update separate email preferences.
Paid memberships and agency services
Paid memberships, subscriptions, and custom agency work require separate terms presented before purchase. Those agreements will specify pricing, billing, cancellation, refunds, service scope, delivery conditions, and access. These free-community Terms do not create a paid subscription or authorize charges.
Submitting a workflow request confirms a request for review, not approval, a deduction from an allowance, a delivery deadline, or an authorization for additional charges. Scope, eligibility, timing, and any extra fees must be confirmed separately.
Leaving, changes, and contact
You may leave the Discord server at any time. Contact us for help with access or personal information. Leaving the server does not cancel any separately purchased subscription; use its cancellation process.
We may revise these Terms and will post the revised version with its effective date, providing additional notice where appropriate or required. Material new obligations will not be applied retroactively without an appropriate basis. Rights that cannot legally be waived are not excluded by these Terms.
